ABOUT YOUR ACUPUNCTURIST
Dr. Jung Choi (LAc, DAcHM, MSOM) was born in South Korea and has seen the power of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) since his youth. He is a national board-certified Acupuncturist in the states of Arizona and Utah.
He graduated with a Doctor of Acupuncture with Chinese Herbal Medicine Specialization (DACHM) and a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) from the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture, and completed clinical internships with master practitioners from China, Korea and the USA.
He has also spent time in Korea exploring the roots of Oriental Medicine through training and certified for the Korean 4 Needle Techniques by Korean Orthodox Sa’am Acupuncture (KOSA) in Korea and certified by the Institute of Herbal Medicine. In addition, he works as an acupuncturist at the alternative medicine department at Gila River Health Care.
• Diplomate in Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
• 3,500+ hours of training in all the principal aspects of Traditional Chinese Medicine and certified by the Institute of Herbal Medicine.
• Clean Needle Technique (CNT) Certification from the Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (CCAOM).
• Korean 4 Needles Techniques Training and Certification by Korean Orthodox Sa’am Acupuncture (KOSA).
